A docuseries inspired by film noir and crime dramas – the show tells us about the study and the restoration process of the famous painting by Vincent van Gogh in the Pushkin Museum. The project was produced with the support of LG SIGNATURE.

The work of our restorers and art historians is heavily inspired by the classic American film noir. First you need to investigate the "crime scene", collect all the evidence, connect the clues and build a coherent logical chain of facts and events out of it. And only after that you can move forward. It is true that instead of actual criminals our protagonists are looking for ways to preserve the painting for the future generations. And instead of the classic crime drama we are seeing something a bit stranger, with subtle hints of "Twin Peaks" or "Andalusian Dog".
